Jack of all Trades

The world will have you believe that this is a bad title, that it means you are the master of none, but is it really that bad? I can honestly say no! I have always been that type, and my husband is too. We meld together like peanut butter and jelly, like 2 peas in a pod... like a moose and your summer vegetable garden...

I have always had the tendency to jump from one subject to another, and that is what you will find here. I fully intend for my blogging posts to cover everything from making your own yogurt, to homesteading, and even how to make your own beauty products. I've found that most other homemakers are what we would call a jack of all trades. Yet there are articles out there stating homemakers are worth $100,000 per year or even more! What's that? Do I feel a shift in the earths balance?
Until recently I felt I should have been born in the 50's. I cook almost everything from scratch, make my own beauty products, Can everything in site, garden, etc etc. The list could go on and on. No I haven't mastered any of these... but does anyone truly master anything? There is always something new to be learned and I love that fact. As long as I keep myself busy learning new things, I never get bored, and on a plus side I get that satisfying feeling from making something myself.
We can all feel the world changing. There is more chaos, confusion and fear than there used to be. It's becoming more popular to make your own food and beauty products. We are finding ourselves either standing in aisles staring at ingredients or making it ourselves. Here is the reason for this blog. If you want to learn, learn with me! I will be posting and sharing tips as well as sharing my failures and successes. We are always on the verge of something. What will it be next?
